If you've decided to delete your Kaashy account, follow the steps below carefully. Remember, this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Things to Know Before Deleting Your Account

  • Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Any remaining balance in your Kaashy Wallet must be withdrawn before deletion. If your wallet still holds funds, please request a withdrawal before proceeding.
  • Transactions shared between users (e.g., money sent/received) will not be deleted for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Transactions unique to your account only (such as recharges and fiat swap history) will be permanently deleted.
  • All your personal data — including name, profile picture, phone number, and wallet credentials (e.g., name, PIN, wallet ID) — will be removed.

Data Retention Policy

We retain your data:

  • For as long as your account is active
  • Up to five (5) years after account deletion for fraud prevention and legal compliance
  • Longer if required by applicable laws or regulations

Step-by-Step Guide

1 Open the Kaashy App

Launch the app on your phone and make sure you're logged in.

2 Go to Settings

Tap on the Settings icon from the main navigation bar or menu.

3 Tap "Delete Account"

Select "Delete Account" from the list of settings options.

4 Review Important Information

Before proceeding, Kaashy will show you important points:

  • Deleting your account is permanent.
  • Withdraw any balance from your wallet before continuing.
  • Your transaction history and data will be permanently deleted unless required by law.

5 Confirm Deletion

Tap the red "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the screen.

6 Final Confirmation

A confirmation message may pop up asking you to confirm. Accept to complete the deletion process.

Tip:

Make sure your wallet balance is zero before attempting to delete the account, otherwise the process won't continue.
